Who am I?
I am currently a Digital Culture major with a focus in film. Ever since I was young I have loved movies and studying motion which is why I made the choice to become a film student. I hope to graduate and become a motion graphics artist or animator.
Cultural Influences
Some cultural influences that have really impacted my life are feminism and global awareness. While these cultural influences have directly impacted me, they don't play a major part in the art I create. Another major influence that does impact my art is types of mixed media installations that provide active feedback to the user while teaching them about cultural phenomenon. For example, there is an installation in a Chinese Museum that teaches the user about lost or forgotten parts of their culture, such as immigration and the impact of commerce.

Artistic Influence
As a kid, I almost always was creating in some way. Whether that was making forts in the desert or doodling on anything I could fine. Most of inspiration for creating these things came from cartoon shows and movies. I spent a lot of time watching Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon while I tried to draw my own characters. Some of the shows I watched the most were Invader Zim, Courage the Cowardly Dog and Angry Beavers. I have so many notebooks filled to the brim with character alterations from all those of shows.
More recently, I have been heavily influenced by Wes Anderson films as well as Pixar and Quentin Tarantino. I like the style these films are shot in, as well as the amount of energy spent to create a fitting aesthetic for each individual film they produce. On top of films, I have been reading a lot graphic novels such as Squee!, Asterios Polyp and Bottomless Belly Button. On a side note, I also enjoy 80's and 90's graphics as well as product designs.

Personal Art Style
As for my personal artistic style, I haven't found a concrete style but I love making stylized minimalistic designs, mainly using vectors. However, I also love space age themes as well as low poly art. But my doodles are mainly sporadic cartoon characters with mildly witty retort being said. My doodles were inspired mostly by the Invader Zim and Courage the Cowardly Dog art styles. The art I create happens to be very interpretable, which is just a nice way of saying what I draw looks different to everyone because I don't professionally draw cartoons.
