ARTIST STATEMENTAs my final logo I decided to push the 'hooded figure" logo, idea to complete as my final logo for this project.
I stuck with using cyan and maroon for my main colors in this logo with a deep purple as a transition color. I wanted the colors to be noticeable to a level. An issue I noticed with the previous design of the logo was that the horn at the top didn't clearly read. So I indicated two horns by adding an angled cyan horn to contrast with the deep maroon color already there . This way, it is much more readable. Overall, I stuck with the basic design because of it's simplicity and the reason that it represents me most out of all the previous logo ideas. |
LOGO SKETCHES & IDEAS
|
For theses first variations of logos I decided to primarily use circles in my design. Since round or circle shapes in logos present a sense of unity and community. I feel that when it comes to being an artist it is essential to have many influences that affect the artist's particular art style. I think it's important to be enveloped in an environment where there are many creative influences.

UNVECTORIZED LOGO SKETCHES & IDEAS
Here are some logo ideas I 'sketched' using Photoshop that I plan to vector and create. These sketches are just placement for now until I can vector them.
The color scheme overall is very cool in terms of tone and hue. I included a hint of a light orange color to compliment the cold gradient that exists within the logos already. |
