Weebly Clean-up / Portfolio Presentation
Due: Thursday 12/1- Last Class
By the end of the semester our Weebly site is a bit messy and hard to navigate.
This assignment is to reorganize and make the website more navigable and to better present the work you did during this semester as a portfolio.
2. Convert all of your fly out tab pages into buttons on your home page.
These are the buttons I require:
Other exercises may be added if you like them, they may be deleted if you do not like them, or if they are in your blog section you may just leave them there.
Making Buttons is easy.
Add a button from the Build side-menu on Weebly then click the button to rename the button.
Create a link to the associated page by going to LINK - Standard Page - and then selecting the appropriate page/assignment.
Once you have the Buttons linked you need to go into the PAGES Tab and on the right hand side of where your pages are listed there is a HIDE IN NAVIGATION OPTION. You need to click this for all of your pages.
That way the pages won’t fly out in the menu under your name, the way they do now.
Users of the website will only be able to reach them through clicking your buttons.
If you have questions please ask!
BE CAREFUL TO NOT DELETE PAGES!
Weebly has many tutorials and help message boards if you get stuck and want to fix it yourself.
